New Junior Frame Rail Cooler!

We are pleased to announce the availability of a modified version of our very popular Frame Rail Transmission Oil Coolers! Frame Rail Coolers are designed for out-of-sight mounting on the chassis frame rail next to the transmission. Special offset brackets position the cooler approximately 2¼" off of the mounting surface for 360° airflow.

New Frame Rail Trans Cooler Junior part numbers 1005 and 1006 are 29 % shorter, with an overall length of 17 inches. The new models have 12,000 pound GVW rating and will fit many smaller street rods and custom built vehicles.

Part #1005 is a complete kit with cooler, hose and mounting hardware. Part #1006 is a cooler only with -6AN male fittings. The coil size for both numbers is 1½" x 2½" x 17½".

Perma-Cool Now OEM Supplier to GM and Isuzu!

Perma-Cool® is now an original eqipment manufacturer to General Motors and Isuzu. Our Auxiliary Trans Filter Kits are now standard equipment on all 1997 GM and Isuzu 5 ton trucks with "Jericho" automatic transmissions.! The kits are installed at Isuzu's five ports of entry in the U.S. GM imports their 5 ton truck from Isuzu.

GM and Isuzu dealers are also installing the filter kits on all pre-1997 trucks that come into the dealerships for any warranty work on the transmissions.

Our filter element was the ONLY one they tested that met all of their requirements, filtering capacity, filter housing burst rating, etc. The filters are the same as our #81008.

Plans are also underway to install the kits on all 1998 5 ton trucks. Isuzu estimates that the Perma-Cool® Trans Filter SAVED THEM OVER 2 MILLION DOLLARS in warranty repair charges in the first month alone!

Our new Super Filter Oil Filter Mounts, featuring a unique, low profile design, are now in stock and available for immediate shipment!

Benefits include a strongermounting surface and installation flexibility due to the compact overall dimensions.

New Competition Part #66730 features dual inlet and outlet -12AN O-Ring ports and has an anodized finish, making it ideal for marine as well as automotive applications. Part #6630 has dual inlet and outlet ports with ¾" female pipe threads and has a bright polished finish.

Both mounts have 1½" - 12 threads and are designed to fit Fram® #HP-6, Wix Racing #570065R, or equivalent.

Super Filter Mount part numbers 60030 and 60033, pictured on page 35 in our catalog, have been discontinued.

Part # 66730 replaces #60030. Part #6630 is the same as discontinued #60033 but comes with a polished finish instead of an anodized finish as indicated in the catalog.
