At Perma-Cool® we believe the successful approach to marketing cooling and filtering products is by maximizing all sales opportunities. We accomplish this in several important ways.

First, we offer performance enhancing alternatives in all popular product categories including Transmission Oil Coolers, Engine Oil Coolers, Turbo-Flex^tm Flex Fans, Turbo-Flex^tm Electric Fans and Perma-Cool® Fuel Filter & Water Separators. Giving customers a choice of products to solve their problem is proven to increase overall sales. It raises customer confidence as well as generating higher ticket sales with purchases of the upgraded products.

Second, we offer a broad range of tag along products. These products maximize sales opportunities by promoting sales to consumers who are already educated about of the importance of automotive fluid temperature control. Tag along products include Remote Oil Thermostats, Competition Oil Coolers, Maxi-Cool^tm 6 Pass and Dual Circuit Oil Coolers, Frame Rail Coolers and Power Steering Coolers.

Third, our award winning retail packaging stimulates sales. The sophisticated four color packaging is designed to: Attract the Sale with subtle yet attention grabbing colors and graphics; Support the Sale with enlarged product images and straight forward point of sales information; and Close the Sale by implying that its purchase will be the solution to the consumer's problem.

New Rep Agencies Announced!

Two manufacturer's rep agencies have contracted to represent Perma-Cool® in the automotive aftermarket. The new additions give Perma-Cool® complete coverage in the United States and Canada!

The Road Agent has been signed to handle sales and marketing in Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, South Dakota, Utah and Wyoming. Headed up by Les Jackson, the agency is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado and has a sales office in Salt Lake City, Utah run by Tom Macaluso.

Pete Kotze Sales has agreed to manage our sales efforts in the Pacific Northwest, covering Washington, Oregon and Western Canada. The company has headquarters in Graham, Washington and a branch office run by Chris Weir in Vancouver, Washington.

New Product Image Duplication System!

Eliminate the time consuming duplication of color transparencies and the high costs of custom photography sessions with the new Product Image Duplication Program available exclusively from Perma-Cool®!

The program provides first generation duplications of all of the photos used in our Silver Anniversary Catalog to qualifying retailers and distributors for down loading into their own computer systems. Each of the color images is fully cropped and ready to use in customer generated catalogs, flyers, World Wide Web sites, etc. All color images are easily converted to black and white with most conversion programs.

The images are Macintosh formatted using QuarkXpress software. They are supplied on five «Zip Drive» disks and can be down loaded with an inexpensive (under $200) Zip Drive. The disks can also be transferred onto regular diskettes by most graphic design firms or printers (Kinko's, etc).

The disks are available to all active accounts who agree to return them to Perma-Cool® after downloading.

New Chevy Suburbans Take Special Trans Cooler!

New 1996 and later Chevy Suburbans come from the factory equipped with 5/8" steel transmission lines. Most aftermarket tube & fin transmission oil coolers have 1/2" tubes. Installation of coolers with 1/2" tubes, as well as stacked plate coolers, will restrict the flow of fluid leading to pre-mature transmission failure.

Perma-Cool® Heavy Duty Transmission Oil Cooler P/N 13161, shown on catalog page #5, features 5/8" tubes with 3/8" FPT fittings and won't restrict the flow of fluid. The kit includes oversized oil hose and all necessary mounting hardware and is backed with a lifetime warranty.

Our Heavy Duty Transmission Oil Coolers are the only aftermarket trans coolers, to our knowledge, that will work with Chevy's new Suburbans.

Perma-Cool® Web Site Now Under Construction!

Consumers who surf the World Wide Web will soon be able to view all Perma-Cool® cooling products, filtering products and related accessories on our new web site! The site, now under construction, will show all of our products in a layout similar to our Silver Anniversary Catalog. The site will use the same color images and sales copy as our catalog.

Hopefully in the future, consumers who visit the site will be asked to enter information on their particular application before viewing the catalog and an automatic application guide will show the suggested part numbers for the consumer's vehicle alongside each product that is viewed. We are still taking suggestions on how to better serve you both now and in the future.
