NEW FAN SPACERS FOR PICK-UPS!

Perma-CoolŽ Universal Flex Fan Spacers fit most domestic Ford, GM and Chrysler applications. The kits include both coarse and fine thread bolts and mounting hardware.

Late model Chevy and GMC Pick-Ups, Blazers and Suburbans require metric hardware which is not included in our Universal Spacer Kits. For these applications use part number 23750 which includes a 2" spacer to fit 5/8" and ž" pilots and both 6 and 8mm mounting hardware.

Late model Ford Pick-Ups have a fan clutch which threads on to the water pump flange. When replacing the factory fan clutch and fan with a flex fan a special spacer is required to fit over the right or left hand threaded hub on the water pump. P/N23118 includes a specially clearanced 2" fan spacer and 8mm ;mounting hardware.

FUEL FILTER/WATER SEPARATOR KITS BETTER FILTERING, HIGHER FLOWING FAST SELLERS!

Perma-CoolŽ Fuel Filter & Water Separator Kits filter over 95% of the particles above 2 microns and remove virtually all water from the fuel. They can be used with gasoline, diesel fuel, methanol, ethanol or gasohol. Not for use with nitro-methane. High Performance Kit P/N 81794, flows up to 25 Gallons per Minute (1500 GALLONS PER HOUR). It has dual inlet and outlet ports, giving the installer a choice of flow direction. The multiple port design is ideal for dual fuel pumps or dual carburetors.

Fram's popular HPG-1 high performance fuel filter has 94% less flow at just 90 gallons per hour, only filter particles down to 10 microns and does not remove any water!

Fuel Filter & Water Separator Kit, P/N 81074, is recommended for passenger cars and trucks and includes flame retardant hose and all mounting hardware. High Flow Filter Assembly, P/N 88864, with 3/4" pipe ports, is designed for fuel transfer applications as well as industrial and fleet use. The high flow filter assembly is perfect for racers who transfer racing fuels (except nitro) from 55 gallon drums where condensation collects continuously into smaller capacity filling containers. UNTIL NOW THEY HAVE HAD NO WAY TO REMOVE MOISTURE FROM THE FUEL.

All three kits withstand up to 90psi line pressure. The element is good for 24,000 miles. Replacement elements, P/N 81000, are sold separately.

WHY HI-PERF ELECTRIC FANS WORK BETTER.

Why are Turbo Flex High Performance Electric Fans the most powerful electric fans available? Why are they capable of moving almost twice the volume of air as competitive models? Is it all just hype? Are they really that much better than other electric fans? They really are that good! Here's why.

There are four basic reasons why our H-P electric fans enjoy such a dramatic performance advantage over our competition.

Precision Machined Pancake Electric Motors.

Oversized front and rear ball bearing armature supports greatly reduce internal friction, reducing drag, increasing RPM and lowering amperage draw. Most electric fans use metal bushing armature supports. The resulting friction creates more drag which takes additional power to turn the motor and results in lower operating RPMs. Bushing wear can ultimately cause armature misalignment, lower RPMs and higher amp draws.

Lightweight Fan Blade Assemblies.

The advantages are less drag on the motor for higher engine RPMs. The ultimate benefit is higher airflow (CFM) combined with longer electric motor life.

Open Steel Fan Housings.

The finger guards that are common on today's electric fans actually impede the air flow. Factory electric fans, 99% of the time, utilize an open fan housing. Incorporating a finger guard into the fan housing decreases the efficiency of an already marginal fan.

Blade Design.

Many aftermarket fans now feature swept, or curved blades. The designers of these fans tell us the design actually multiplies the cubic feet of air that the fan flows. This is true to a point. The air flow is increased but the swirling effect is drawn from a smaller circumference! In other words, a 10" swept blade electric fan flows air over a 5" to 6" surface area NOT a 10" surface area.

All Perma-CoolŽ Electric Fans flow their air over the entire square inch surface area of the fan, which results in more cooling!

ADDITIONAL PERMA-COOLŽ RACE SERIES SPONSORSHIPS!

In addition to the sponsorships explained last month, Perma-CoolŽ has also expanded it's participation in the drag racing world. New to this years race series sponsorships is NHRA's inaugural Be a Member Be a Winner bracket series. The series allows NHRA members who win a Craftsman ET bracket race to get a chance at winning additional prizes through monthly drawings. The lucky Perma-CoolŽ winner receives the Maxi-Cool cooler of his/her choice.

We feel that piggybacking on NHRA's extensive promotion of this series is an outstanding, and very cost effective way, to increase brand name awareness!
