Charter Issue!

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Ameduri to the position of National Sales Manager. Tom is uniquely qualified for this position. He spent the last seven years at Hooker Headers where he worked in sales as well as managing new product development, racer support and customer service. Before working at Hooker, Tom handled new product development at Hayden and previously worked in the sales department at Dunham-Bush.

Tom's responsibilities include working with our sales representatives to increase sales to our existing customer base as well as developing new business in all sales territories. He will also be involved in identifying and developing new markets.

SILVER ANNIVERSARY CATALOG, EXPANDED TO 64 PAGES, DUE MAY 1ST!

We have completed work on our Silver Anniversary Catalog and it is currently being printed. The new catalog will be mailed on May 1st to over 24,000 U.S. and Canadian performance jobbers as part of DCI's MailServe Package.

The catalog features enlarged product photos and extensive product descriptions. The application guide includes listings for 1997 models!

We've added over 80 new part numbers, including Competition Coolers, Competition Adapters and Filter Mounts and related hardware.

Competition Coolers are designed for all out racing environments. They are offered in two styles: copper header, aluminum fin style coolers and all aluminum, serpentine tube and fin style coolers. Because of our patented construction processes, our Competition Coolers are backed by a lifetime warranty unlike other racing coolers including Setrab and others. High Flow Competition Adapters and Filter Mounts feature AN ports for use with braided steel lines. All Competition Adapters and Filter Mounts are supplied with an anodized finish, making them ideal for marine, as well as automotive applications.

We also have a new price sheet coming on May 1, 1996. The price increase averages 4% however; we were able to lower the price on some items. We will honor the old prices on all orders received in our office through June 15, 1996.

NEW CFM RATINGS FOR ELECTRIC FANS!

Our Silver Anniversary catalog lists new CFM ratings for our High Performance and Standard Electric Fans. In the past we have rated the Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) on our electric fans by mounting the fans to a three row radiator, simulating actual usage.

All of our competitors have rated their fans in what is called a zero static condition where the electric fan is not mounted to a radiator. This inflates the CFM rating, making the fan seem more powerful than it actually is.

While our rating method was more indicative of our fan's true performance, it left us at a disadvantage when potential customers compared us to everyone else. The new CFM ratings show an air flow increase of approximately 40%! The new ratings prove once and for all that Perma-Cool® High Performance Electric Fans flow more air than any other electric fans on the market.

Some manufactures test their fans at 13.7 volts, instead of 12 volts, to further inflate their CFM ratings. All of our tests are at 12 volts!

NEW FULL COLOR MINI CATALOG AVAILABLE SOON!

Now that our in-house graphics department has completed work on our Silver Anniversary catalog, we have embarked on a new project; a full color consumer mini catalog.

The 5 panel mini catalog will highlight our best selling cooling products and will feature the same color photographs used in our full line catalog accompanied by brief product description.

The mini catalog will be available to all of our customers for use as, among other things, a consumer hand out in retail stores, a statement stuffer, a race track hand out and a new product line announcement for new warehouse distributors. The mini catalog will also be inserted in Perma-Cool® retail packages.

The mini catalog will be available sometime in May.

Based in Kansas City, Kansas, APW is owned by Eldon Larson and specializes in performance parts distribution throughout the Midwest. The company has distribution centers and telephone sales outlets in several key markets.

Automotive Performance Wholesalers is stocking our entire line of cooling and fluid filtering products and fills our need for an aggressive performance distributor in the Midwest.
